How far in advance should I book a private jet charter?
For most domestic routes we can confirm an aircraft within hours. For international, multi-leg or peak-season travel, we recommend booking at least a few days ahead to secure the best pricing and aircraft choice.
How much can I save by booking an empty leg?
Empty legs occur when a jet needs to reposition after a one-way charter. Booking one of these repositioning flights can save up to 75% compared to a standard round-trip charter - availability changes daily on the AviaLink marketplace.
Are your operators certified and insured?
Yes. Every flight is operated by FAA Part 135 or CAA-equivalent certified operators. Sky Aviation acts as a charter broker per DOT 14 CFR Part 295 and does not operate aircraft directly.
Can I charter cargo or air ambulance flights?
Yes - our brokers arrange cargo charters for industries from oil & gas to seafood, plus urgent air ambulance transport with a professional medical team on board.
Do I need to buy a Mollymawk test package from Sky Aviation?
No. Sky Aviation does not sell Mollymawk test packages - purchase yours directly from mollymawk.de, then contact us to book your exam slot at Sky Aviation Plaza in Istanbul.
Which aircraft types can I train on at Sky Academy?
Our simulator center currently supports Boeing B737NG and Airbus A320-200 fixed-base training devices, with TRI/SFI instructors covering type rating support, airline assessment preparation, LPC/OPC check preparation, command upgrade support, LIFUS support and CRM practice.
Are your simulators EASA or SHGM approved?
No. Our B737NG and A320-200 simulators are advanced fixed-base training devices that are not EASA or SHGM qualified and are not an FNPT II. We provide supplementary support training and preparation. Sessions do not count towards a license issue or renewal, a type rating skill test, or an official LPC/OPC; those are completed at approved organizations. Separately, we have pre-ordered EASA Level-D full flight simulators, which are a future investment and not yet in service.
Do you offer airline assessment preparation?
Yes. We prepare pilots for airline assessments and interviews with real scenarios and experienced captains, on both B737NG and A320-200 devices. Online preparation is also available on AviaCoach.
How do I access my Sky Academy or Line Training account?
Students and pilots sign in through the Sky Aviation student portal.
